I am a registered user and I want to log on to the XML4Pharma Application Server

Why do I need to register ?

Registration is necessary to avoid abuse use of our application server.
Your registration data are treated confidentially, and will never be passed to other parties.
Also, registration allows us to send you useful information about new IT-technologies in Pharma R&D. You will however never obtain more than 1 e-mail per month from us. Information send to you will not contain advertisements or spam.
By registering or logging in into this application server, you agree that information is send to you on the above mentioned terms.

Applications already deployed on this application server

• ODM Reporting tool: transformation to PDF


PDF documents are used in many cases where the resulting document should be final, i.e. it should not be possible to change it afterwoods.
PDF documents can be generated on-the-fly, e.g. from database data or from XML documents. An example is the on-the-fly generation of analytical certificates.
The application you can try out here allows you to submit a CDISC ODM file (v.1.1) and receive a full report in PDF format.


• A web service (using SOAP) which you can use to retrieve CDISC ODM files from our application server. Until now, three methods have been deployed :
  • get_LatestODMFile() : get the ODM file from the database with the youngest CreationDateTime
  • get_ODMFilesSince(Date) : get all the ODM files with a CreationDateTime beyond the give date
  • showAvailableFiles() : get the list of available CDISC ODM files

• XML e-Signature application


This application allows you to sign an XML file with a demo electronic signature in XML-Signature format. This is the standard way to sign CDISC ODM files. The application also allows you to verify signed XML documents on the validity of the included XML-Signature.


• Automatic generation of eCRFs (XForms) from CDISC ODM files
  
  The setup of a study, i.e. which forms are used and what fields are on the forms (with the datatypes), are defined in the Study part of the CDISC ODM file. The current application shows how eCRFs (in XForms format - the new W3C standard for web forms) can be generated automatically from the Study part of an ODM file. You can submit your own ODM file containing a study definition, and a set of eCRFs will be generated automatically.
  You can then test these eCRFs on-line or download them.
  New: When you use the generated eCRFs on-line, and do a submit after you filled in the form, the sumbitted data is automatically transformed into CDISC ODM format, and shown to you.



• A native XML database with over 3000 eCRFs in CDISC ODM format
  
  You can search this database using XPath expressions (XPath is an XML query language). As we do understand that not every user knows XPath very well, we also deliver an XPath tutorial for use with our database of eCRFs.



• CDISC Lab ASCII to XML Converter
  
  The simplest way for a central lab to generate CDISC Lab files is to do it using the ASCII implementation. For the receiving party however, this has the disadvantage that checking the integrity and validity of the data is difficult. Transformation into CDISC Lab XML has the advantage that validation becomes much easier, and that Lab files can be stored as XML or easily be transformed into ODM format.
  The application allows you to convert CDISC Lab ASCII files into CDISC Lab XML files.
  This application is also available as a stand-alone PC application against a small fee.



• CDISC Lab Checker (XML implementation)
  
  This application allows you to submit a CDISC Lab file (v.1.0.1) in XML format which is then checked against the standard. The checking considerably goes beyond a simple checking against the XML-Schema. Checking is also performed against rules that could not be described in an XML-Schema, but that are described the Standards Specification.
  An extended version of this application has recently been installed at one of our customers.



• CDISC Lab Checker (ASCII implementation)
  
  Similar to the previous application, but now for CDISC Lab files in ASCII format.

• CDISC ODM Checker
  
  The CDISC ODM Checker checks whether a CDISC ODM file (defining and keeping clinical data) conforms to the ODM standard. The ODM Checker is already available as a stand-alone application (free for CDISC members !), but here we will show how it can be implemented on a production server at a pharma sponsor or CRO.
